Abhisek Roy is a Application Engineer at MathWorks India focusing on Plant Modeling, Control Design and Automation. He has been working with Automotive customers to address their challenges in the areas of physical modeling and robotics. His areas of interest include the study of various automotive systems and controls systems. Abhisek has completed his M.Tech in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, specializing in control systems and robotics, and B.Tech in electrical engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata.

Mr.Balaji has an overall 15 years of experience in the Automotive Domain. Balaji works for Vitesco Technologies (India)Pvt. Ltd as Cluster Leader for Hardware Communication Interfaces from the Base Platform Solutions team in Bangalore, India. Prior to Vitesco, Mr. Balaji has worked with BOSCH India for 3+ years. Mr. Balaji's core experience is in the Engine system domain and Charging interfaces. Mr. Balaji holds 6 international patents.

Gaurav Dubey is a Principal Application Engineer in MathWorks India and specializes in the fields of Model-Based Design and System Engineering workflows, automatic code generation, verification and validation, and certifications for safety-critical applications. Gaurav works closely with engineers across industries to help them use MATLAB® and Simulink® products for Model-Based Design, and Model-Based System Engineering. Gaurav brings more than 19 years of experience in embedded system development for automotive and aerospace applications. Prior to joining MathWorks, Gaurav worked with Tata Motors Limited, where he gained hands-on experience in engine management system ECU development. He has also worked as a software analyst at Tata Consultancy Services on automotive projects involving model-based development. Gaurav holds a master’s degree in instrumentation engineering and a master’s degree in electronics and communications.

Madhu has 13+ years of experience in embedded systems, control systems development, MBD (MATLAB, SIMULINK, ASCET, SCADE), Simulations, Auto code generation, MIL & SIL Testing. Before joining Ansys, he worked with ETAS Automotive & BOSCH, as subject matter expert on AUTOSAR & ISO 26262 Functional Safety. He is ISO 26262:2018 certified functional safety professional Level – II from TÜV SÜD. He holds bachelor of technology degree in electrical and electronics engineering from JNTU Hyderabad.

Dr. Pallavi Bharadwaj is an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar. She has previously served as a Faculty in Aalborg University, Denmark. She completed her Postdoctoral Research at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA in 2021 after receiving her Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, India in 2019. Pallavi is a Gold Medalist for her industrial training and has received several awards including POSOCO Power System Award, Bhaskara Advanced Solar Energy Indo-US fellowship and serves in several National and International Technical Committees since 2016. She is very passionate about sustainability and strives towards engineering optimized solutions for global energy needs. Her research interests broadly include design and control of renewable power conversion systems; modelling and optimization of energy storage solutions; physics inspired AI for smart power electronics towards net zero transition.

Prasanna Deshpande is a Manager of Automotive Industry Application Engineering Team with MathWorks India and specializes in the field of Automotive Electrification, Model-Based Control Design and automation. He and his team members closely work with Automotive OEMs, Suppliers, Startups and Services in adopting Model-Based Design for system simulation, embedded code generation and real-time testing. Prasanna brings more than 16 years of experience with various clients from the automotive industry. Prior to joining MathWorks, Prasanna was working as technical leader in the automotive group of KPIT Technologies Ltd., where he gained expertise in rapid control prototyping and hardware-in-the-loop simulation technologies for various automotive customers. He has also worked as an assistant manager at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. Prasanna holds a bachelor’s degree in electronics and a master’s degree in instrumentation from University of Pune.

Ramanuja Jagannathan is a Senior Application Engineer at MathWorks India working on modelling, simulation, control design and simulation deployment for mechatronics applications. He has experience working in customer projects involving design of mechatronic machine design, robotic manipulator, reinforcement learning based controller and digital twin deployment. Before joining MathWorks, he was as a Senior Engineer at Larsen and Toubro working in project planning and control of Railway projects. His academic background is in Process Control, and he did master’s programme at National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, India.

Ramesh Krishnan Narayanan founded MaxEye Technologies in 2011 with an objective to build a global test and measurement products and solutions company. Today the company has a presence in three locations (Bengaluru, Chennai and Pune) offering test solutions globally for autonomous and connected electric vehicles, RF and wireless test. He has more than 24 years of experience in the various wireless, electric vehicle, RF test and measurement products. Before founding MaxEye, Ramesh worked with National Instruments, L&T Infotech, Sasken and Epigon Media Technologies. Ramesh holds a Master Degree in Electrical Engineering from College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University, Chennai.

Reshmi Raghavan is a Senior Technology Specialist at Ansys. She has more than ten years of modelling and simulation experience and interacting with engineers from automotive and appliance industry. Her focus area includes Transformers, traction motor design, power electronics and actuator design. She has been collaborating with several OEM's and enabling them to adapt simulation-based product development to reduce overall cost and design cycle time. Reshmi comes with a graduate degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and post-graduation in Power Electronics and Drives.

Rustam Singh Shekhar is an applications engineer at COMSOL, specializing in electrochemistry and battery simulation. He received his PhD in energy science and engineering from IIT Bombay, masters in chemical engineering from IIT Hyderabad, and bachelors in chemical engineering from MITS Gwalior. His expertise includes electrode microstructure and cell- and pack-level modeling.

Thirumalai N.C. is Sector Head - Strategic Studies at the CSTEP. He has been associated with interdisciplinary research activity at CSTEP for more than a decade. He has been involved in research activities in the field of renewable energy and computational modelling of energy systems. He currently research is the domains of Electric Mobility, Hydrogen and Circular Economy. Prior to CSTEP he was associated with Dept. of Aerospace Engineering, Indian Institute of Science working in the field of experimental aerodynamics. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Mysore.

Vijai Gopalakrishnan has 20 years of experience in the Automotive Industry. Has worked with and led Teams in Automotive Product Development related to Design/Virtual Build Validation/Change Management and Manufacturing Engineering, at General Motors. Currently Heads the Vehicle Engineering Design Operations Group at TCS-GM Partnership, Bangalore. His areas of work and interests include Electric Vehicles, Autonomous Systems, Applied Data Science and AI, Physics, and Mathematics. Has a formal background in Engineering, Psychology, and Philosophy. He is closely engaged with several SAEINDIA-Bangalore and SAEINDIA initiatives, specifically Professional Development Programs. Has given several Technical Talks for various PDPs - industry and academia. Is MC Member, SAEINDIA Bangalore section during 2021-23 and 2023-25, leading the PDP Strategic Initiative.
