Course on Engine Development

Jyotirmoy Barman completed his master’s from IIT Roorkee and holds Doctorate degree from IIT Indore in topic of Diesel Engine Dual Fuel Combustion. He is having overall experience of 16+ years in Combustion Development, After Treatment Selection, Vehicle & OBDII Calibration in Off Highway, On Highway and Genset Application in both CI and PI engine. He is having publication of more than 40 nos. of papers in International Conference and Journal Papers in different areas of diesel engine combustion, engine calibration, after treatment, fuel economy etc. He has 2 patents to his credit. Presently he is responsible for engine design and development for Tractor, Off Highway and Genset Engine for upcoming norms of CPCB4+, CEVV and TREM5 in Simpson Engines and Company Limited. His core interest area is diesel engine combustion, after treatment, engine homologation, dual fuel, alternate fuel, and low temperature combustion area.
