Mr. Somnath Sen
Head Design Center at Subros LtdMr. Somnath Sen serves as HEAD – Design Centre, Subros Ltd, and looking after HVAC design, Plumbing Design & virtual simulation & Physical Testing. He is responsible for HVAC design for passenger cars, commercial vehicles and his main research areas thermal system design, passenger comfort, aero acoustic etc. He is also responsible for developing state-of-the art testing facilities. He has a rich experience of more than 17 years and served in many areas like CAE, CFD, NPD program management, customer management etc. Prior to Subros Ltd., he was associated with Tata Motors and Chrysler India Pvt. Ltd and contributed in establishing a strong simulation based design approach in the organization.
He is a Mechanical Engineer graduate and holds a Master of Technology degree in Thermal Sciences from IIT Delhi (India). He has published many technical papers in national and international level on various topics and also published couple of patents.
