The talk relates to the technical field of stamping and deep drawing of BIW components using the latest Tailor Welded Blanks (TWBs) technology for the improvement of fuel efficiency by imp[roving higher strength to weight ratio. It also address the challenges being faced in material characterization, welding processes and experimentation . Future research areas shall also be stressed upon.

"Dr. V V N SATYA SURESH is currently working as Associate Professor in the department of mechanical engineering in MGIT. He has 24 years of teaching experience and 2 years of industrial experience.
He completed his PhD from BITS-Pilani in the area of Metal forming and did his master’s degree in CAD/CAM from JNTU, Hyderabad.
He published 20 journal papers in peer-reviewed journals and has three patents to his credit.
He was awarded by the defence minister Shri. Rajnath singh for the innovative idea in DRDO’s Dare to Dream contest in the year 2019.
He travelled to three countries and presented papers in international conferences.
He received grants from UGC, DRDO, TEQIP etc. and has completed two research projects worth 10 lakhs.
He is holding the post of ‘Additional Controller of Examinations’ in MGIT."
