Event Details
A World In Motion® is a teacher-administered, industry volunteer-assisted educational program that brings science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education to life for students from 9 to 14 years of age. The project encourages various skills related to design and organization and fosters a sense of teamwork amongst students who experience the thrill of pitting their fleet of "Skimmers", "Jet-Toys" & Glider against each other in a spirit of competition. Apart from stimulating technical, creative and analytical instincts, AWIM is designed to develop children's' scientific temper by activity, as opposed to mere bookish knowledge. Thus this is an out of classroom education program.
AWIM Master Teachers Training Program is the first step for this year's activity.
