There are multiple connectivity based applications in a connected vehicle ranging from V2X – Vehicle To Everything communication, enhanced in-vehicle experience, improved telematics services and intelligent transport systems that includes traffic management, autonomous and driving. 5G is expected to be the backbone of all vehicular, infrastructure, pedestrian communication with the new peer to peer communication protocol called C-V2X (Cellular Vehicle To Everything).

Lakshmi has over 35 years of experience in a broad range of leadership roles across regions and industries. Through the course of his career, he has managed and developed scalable businesses, with deep understanding of the global technology market and enterprises’ growing digital needs. Prior to joining Tata Communications, Lakshmi was President and CEO of Tata Consultancy Services Japan, Ltd. where he was in charge of accelerating the company’s market opportunity and developing the brand in the region. Other leadership positions within TCS also include: Global Head of four P&L units (Telecom, Media & Information Services, HiTech and Utilities) that grew to contribute a combined revenue of over $2.4b under his leadership. Sandeep Gupta is working with Airtel’s Network Group as Executive Vice President, Strategy & Architecture. Over last eight years of engagement, he has given strategic direction for transformation of Airtel’s wireless network by driving spectrum strategy, network readiness for 4G & 5G, influencing device and network ecosystem, building telco cloud & orchestration and conceptualizing new initiatives for creating capacity at lower cost & digitizing customer experience.
Sandeep has also delivered Airtel’s global engineering & customer experience lab, which is being used for seeding of new technologies and validation of commercial solutions before their mass rollout in the network.
Sandeep has been associated with Telecom Industry for last three decades and has wide experience in technical marketing, business development, product management, designing of solutions & services. Prior to Airtel, he has served various organizations in senior management positions such as Director for Solution sales in Huawei, Head of product marketing at Motorola, while starting his career with C-DoT, India’s premier telecom R&D design center.
Sandeep is also holding key position and engagements with various industry associations such as Global TD-LTE Initiative (GTI), ORAN, TIP, Seamless Alliance, HAPS alliance and COAI, driving standardization, harmonization & innovation.

Prior to this, he was the Vice President - Digital Technology at Ather Energy Private Ltd, responsible for the Software and Intelligence solutions for the Electric Scooters. He has led leading pioneering efforts in the ACE (Autnonomous, Connected & Electric) domains through his work at organizations like Mahindra & Mahindra and Bosch & has been instrumental in bringing many new technology concepts/ideas to life. He has a strong foundation in R&D by virtue of his initial experience at Indian Space Research Organization.
He is recognized as a Thought Leader and an influencer in the industry in the Connected Vehicles and EVs space and Distinguished speaker in various national and international forums and was conferred the ‘Digital Transformational Leader’ Award by CeBIT India in 2016. He has been a mentor through the AutoNebula Business Accelerator platform for several Indian Startups in Connected Transport.
He has to his credit, the creation of “Mahindra DiGiSENSE”, a first of its kind Connected Vehicles Platform for the entire Mobility Sector across Mahindra & Mahindra and had major contribution in the development of the first Driverless Tractor in India at M&M.

Indranil Choudhuri is a senior Telecom Network Services professional based out of New Delhi, India. Indranil has 30 years of experience in the
Telecom & Media domain supporting Engineering, Managed Services and Consultancy engagements globally in Build, Design and Operate phases
of both Fixed and Mobile networks.

He leads the Accenture proposition for Telco Cloud and Mobile Edge Computing in the region. Indranil has worked across markets in North America, Europe
and APAC and carries a deep understanding of various network technologies and business relevance that derive benefits in key performance KPIs for the
evolving next generation operating models in the telco ecosystem today.

Indranil is a speaker at Industry forums, member of TM Forum ZOOM and has led Accenture representation in the TM Forum Catalyst projects.

Dr. Flament represents 5GAA, the global cross-industry association for the development of connected and automated cars, where he works as Chief Technology Officer since April 2018. Maxime was working previously as Head of Department for Connected & Automated Driving (CAD) at ERTICO – ITS Europe, the European association promoting research and deployment on Intelligent Transportation Systems. For 15 years, he has been a leading contributor to many European activities on road safety, connected vehicles, automated driving, large-scale pilots, and digital mapping. Maxime holds a Ph.D. E.E. (2002) and M.Sc. E.E. (1997) from Chalmers Technical University, Sweden. He also holds an “Ingénieur Civil” degree from the Free University of Brussels (1997). In 2001, he was visiting researcher at Stanford University, CA, USA.

Arumugam Govindswamy is the President & CEO of MBit Wireless Inc. He has over 30 years of engineering and management experience in wireless communications and has emerged as a technology leader and entrepreneur. Arumugam founded MBit Wireless with a vision to make it a global leader in the wireless technology industry. MBit Wireless is a fabless semiconductor system solutions company offering 4G/5G mobile broadband and device-to-cloud with edge computing IoT solutions. Debarati Sen, a National Doctoral Fellow, Govt. of India has obtained her Ph.D in Telecommunication Engineering in 2010 from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India. Presently, she is associated with the Department of Signals and Systems, Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow working for the FORCE project. She was a Chief Engineer at Samsung Electronics, Bangalore, India prior to join Chalmers.

Saro is the author of the book "An Introduction to 5G Wireless Networks". He is currently pursuing his Ph.D in Multi-access Edge Computing.

Through his 14+ year experience in geospatial industry at various stages of its evolution, he focused on
bringing significant benefits of maps and location technologies to individuals, businesses and
governments.
He is technocrat and believes there is limitless potential to make the lives of millions of people better.
He studied Electrical Engineering at Stanford and did MBA from London Business School.
At his current role as CEO MapmyIndia Rohan is driving corporate strategy/growth, sales/marketing,
product and technology/innovation.
Rohan is also a Board Member of the publicly listed Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company,
the financial services arm of Murugappa Group, with a loan book of INR 50,000+ crores, where he
advises the company on how to leverage technology and phygital innovations for future growth and
success.
